Amazon has announced a lineup of new Alexa-enabled devices and experiences designed to help you simplify your everyday life so you can focus on enjoying the things you love. The new devices include the Echo Pop, Echo Hub 8, Echo Studio, and Echo Glow, as well as a number of new features for the Alexa app.
The Echo Pop is a compact smart speaker that delivers full sound and the power of Alexa in an all-new form. The Echo Hub 8 is a smart home hub with an 8-inch HD display that lets you control your smart home devices, watch videos, and make video calls. The Echo Studio is a premium smart speaker that delivers immersive sound with Dolby Atmos and supports 3D audio. The Echo Glow is a smart night light that can be controlled with your voice or the Alexa app.
The new Alexa features include a number of new conversational experiences, simplified smart home device-management, and safety features. For example, you can now ask Alexa to tell you a bedtime story, play a game, or even order a pizza. You can also now easily group your smart home devices into rooms and control them all at once. And the new safety features include the ability to set up an emergency contact and receive alerts if your Echo device detects a smoke or carbon monoxide alarm.
